68 works participated in the Youth and Children's Creativity Contest of Son La province

On July 1, the Organizing Committee of the 7th Son La Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2025 held a meeting to report on the results of propaganda, mobilization and reception of models and products for the contest.

To implement the contest, the Organizing Committee has promoted the contest's propaganda on mass media. Set up working groups to go to localities and schools to propagate, guide participation in the contest and inspect and urge the contest's implementation.

Representative of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations reported on the preliminary summary of the competition implementation.

From May 2025 to June 30, the Organizing Committee received 68 applications from 162 students from 50 schools in the province to register for the contest. The entries mainly focused on the following areas: 22 models and products related to environmentally friendly products; 17 products responding to climate change, 16 school supplies and 13 products of household appliances and children's toys.

Delegates speak at the meeting

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee approved the draft plan for the competition; the draft decision to promulgate the regulations for evaluating and scoring models and products participating in the competition and decided to establish the Jury for the competition. It is expected that the competition will be held from July 7 to 11; select and complete models and products to submit to the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition before July 30. The provincial-level summary and award ceremony is expected to be held in November 2025.
