When the bright summer sun spreads golden on every leaf, it is also the time when students of Son La Medical College organize the program "Medical examination, free medicine and gift giving" in Ngoc Chien commune. Nearly 300 people, including policy beneficiaries, the elderly, women and children, received health check-ups, disease prevention advice and free medicine. Applying their professional knowledge, the students effectively supported the medical team and doctors in receiving, classifying patients, measuring vital signs... helping people access medical services.
Student Ha Minh Thu, Nursing College Class 14B, shared: I am very honored and happy to participate in the trip. This is a valuable opportunity for us to apply our knowledge into practice. Through examining people, I learned many skills, especially in communication and health consultation in a close and easy-to-understand way. I hope there will be more meaningful activities like this so that students can practice their skills and contribute to the community.
