In terms of agriculture, the locality has outstanding strengths in developing high-tech agriculture, with typical agricultural products such as Arabica coffee, Oolong tea, artichokes, vegetables, flowers, wind-dried roses, strawberries, etc. In particular, Cau Dat is considered by international consumers to be one of the 7 regions growing the best Arabica coffee in the world; at the same time, it ranks 2nd in the world in terms of coffee export output (mainly Robusta). In addition, this place is also becoming a center for high-quality tea production, serving the domestic and export markets.

In the field of tourism , Xuan Truong is a “golden address” for cloud hunting spots, experiencing Cau Dat tea hills or agricultural tourism at high-tech wind-dried vegetable, flower and rose farms. In particular, the locality has been promoting the development of renewable energy with the Xuan Truong 1 and 2 wind power projects, in line with the province’s green and circular development orientation.

Sharing about the local development orientation, Mr. Tran Hung Son - Chairman of Xuan Truong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat said: "The locality clearly identifies the development pillars. Each pillar will be invested in each phase, synchronously from planning to infrastructure and human resources".

Accordingly, in the period of 2025 - 2026, the ward will focus on two key points: completing the master plan and investing in essential infrastructure. According to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, first of all, the locality will review, update, and complete the planning map of the entire ward, clearly defining functional areas from high-tech agricultural zones, agricultural tourism areas, urban residential areas, landscape buffer zones, etc. At the same time, re-surveying key crops, such as Arabica coffee, tea, wind-dried persimmons, vegetables, flowers, to invest in depth, build brands, and meet domestic and export market demand.

Regarding infrastructure, the ward identified the key task as upgrading the transportation system, especially the routes connecting production and tourism areas with the urban center. At the same time, review the electricity, water, and internet systems, coordinate with VNPT and Viettel to cover the entire area, meet the requirements of digital transformation and develop e-commerce in agriculture and tourism.

On the other hand, the locality also pays special attention to developing quality human resources. “Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat will promote training and improve the quality of human resources, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture and community tourism. Policies to support startups, access preferential loans, technology transfer, etc. will be implemented synchronously, encouraging people to boldly innovate production methods, apply technology and link production and consumption according to the value chain”, said the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
