Overview of the ceremony
The delegation includes comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, Board of Directors, General Directorate of the Corporation; representatives of affiliated grassroots party organizations and nearly 200 official delegates, representing more than 8,000 cadres, officers and crew members in the entire VIMC system.
Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, on behalf of the delegation, reported to Uncle Ho.
At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, on behalf of the entire Party Committee, presented a public report, reviewing the outstanding results that the Corporation has achieved in the past term. Under the comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee of the Corporation, the VIMC system has overcome many difficulties, completed and exceeded production and business targets; gradually implemented effective restructuring; expanded investment in developing the seaport system, fleet, logistics services; at the same time, actively implemented digital transformation, innovated governance, improved competitiveness and sustainable development. The work of building the Party and the political system has been seriously and systematically implemented, creating a driving force to promote production and business efficiency and arousing the sense of responsibility in each cadre and Party member.
VIMC Party Committee keeps in mind President Ho Chi Minh 's advice at Hai Phong Port, continuing to promote the spirit of "one boat, one wave" to build a united and strong team.
Imbued with Uncle Ho's thoughts on developing the maritime transport industry, especially his advice when visiting Hai Phong Port: "Unity is strength. When the water rises, the ship floats. You guys here are on the same boat, so you must unite with each other. Your personal future must be tied to the interests of the nation and the working class. Whoever wants to seek their own personal future means separating themselves from the ship in the middle of the sea, ..." The Party Committee of the Corporation expressed its deep gratitude, kept in mind the teaching "Unity is strength" and vowed to continue to maintain political courage, promote the tradition of "Discipline - Unity", innovate thinking, improve integration capacity, build VIMC into a leading maritime and logistics group in the region, contributing to realizing the aspiration of making Vietnam a strong maritime nation by 2045 according to the thoughts and expectations of President Ho Chi Minh.
The spirit of “Unity is strength” – the sacred testament of Uncle Ho – is the guiding principle in the journey of innovation, integration and sustainable development of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.
The performance reporting ceremony is the opening event for a series of important political activities towards the 7th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, term 2025-2030, taking place on July 9-10, 2025 at the headquarters of the Corporation. This is a milestone of special significance in the development process of VIMC, marking the path of innovation, integration and affirming the pioneering role in the national maritime and logistics industry.
