Coming here, visitors can not only admire unique pottery products bearing the imprint of Cham culture but also have the opportunity to experience the traditional handmade pottery making process, a unique cultural feature recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection. The Cham community here is the largest in the country, contributing to enriching the diverse and unique cultural picture of the province.

According to the 2019 Population Census, the total number of Cham people in Vietnam is about 178,948. Of which, Ninh Thuan province (old) is the place with the largest Cham population with 67,517 people, accounting for about 37.73% of the total Cham people in the country; Khanh Hoa province (old) also has a Cham community with 325 people. The presence of the Cham community in Khanh Hoa province after the merger is an outstanding condition for this locality in preserving and promoting Cham cultural values.

Not stopping there, Khanh Hoa province is also a "living museum" with countless heritages, relics and scenic spots. With 4 cultural heritages and natural heritages recognized and listed by UNESCO, including: Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve; Cham pottery art; Bai Choi art and Southern amateur music art, along with hundreds of national and provincial cultural heritages, there is a huge potential for cultural and historical tourism.

Mr. Van Quan Phu Doan - an artisan of Bau Truc Cham pottery village, Ninh Phuoc commune said: Pottery making has been part of my family for generations. Each ceramic product is not only an object but also a soul, a story about Cham culture. We are very happy that more and more tourists come to visit, learn about and appreciate this traditional pottery craft. That urges us to preserve and teach the craft to the next generation.

Ms. Tran Thi Mai Anh - a tourist from Hanoi, could not hide her excitement when visiting Po Klong Garai Tower, sharing: The architecture of the tower is very unique and impressive. The local people are very friendly and hospitable, making my trip even more meaningful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and relatives.

To preserve and promote these great heritage values, and at the same time effectively exploit tourism potential, Khanh Hoa province has been implementing many synchronous solutions. The restoration and conservation of historical and cultural relics, especially Cham temples and towers, has been given special attention. Traditional festivals of the Cham people such as the Kate festival at temples and towers have been restored and organized on a large scale, attracting many tourists to visit and learn about Cham culture.
