Dong Nai prioritizes developing eco-tourism associated with biodiversity conservation

Throughout its 65-year history of construction and growth, Vietnam tourism has made an important contribution to the country's socio-economic development; becoming a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and friends around the world .

In Dong Nai, tourism activities began to take shape in the early 1980s. Up to now, Dong Nai tourism has had many innovations and developments. Dong Nai tourism technical facilities are increasingly developed and aiming for high quality. Tourism products and services are increasingly diverse, meeting the diverse needs of tourists and gradually attracting large investors to develop higher quality services.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vu Xuan Truong emphasized that green tourism is not only a trend but has become a guideline for sustainable tourism development in Dong Nai province in the present and future. Dong Nai province prioritizes the development of eco-tourism products, community tourism, encourages investment, exploits eco-tourism areas associated with biodiversity conservation, promotes the value of national parks and nature reserves.

At the same time, promote the application of green technology and raise awareness of environmental protection, encourage tourism businesses to invest in environmentally friendly technology, reduce waste, save energy and water resources. Dong Nai advocates promoting links between localities in the province, strengthening cooperative relationships to develop green tourism in the coming time.
