On the evening of September 1, at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi , singer Hoang Bach participated in the special national concert "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). He performed two songs from the EP "Words of the Heart of Vietnam": "Welcome to Vietnam" with singer Lamoon Diem Hang, children's choir, Ethnic Orchestra and TRE Dance Group; and "Love the Smile of Vietnam" with People's Artist Thanh Lam, singer Tung Duong, Symphony Orchestra, children's choir and adults.
Then, on the morning of September 2, he participated in the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march at Ba Dinh Square, in the performance "Vietnam, let's step towards glory" with 80 artists and dance troupes, creating a grand and emotional performance.
Notably, Hoang Bach is the only artist to have two self-composed songs performed in the art program “80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey”, namely “Welcome to Vietnam” and “Love Vietnam’s smile”, from the EP “Words of Vietnam’s heart”. The appearance of these two songs not only affirms Hoang Bach’s composing talent but also shows his special mark in spreading patriotism through music at a national event.
Hoang Bach shared: “It is a great honor to perform at the special art program '80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey' and the Anniversary, parade, and march. This is an opportunity for me to bring the songs in the EP 'Words of the Heart of Vietnam' to millions of audiences, joining the flow of national pride.”
He said the artists and the dance troupe had practiced with high intensity and dedication to bring performances worthy of a national event. For Hoang Bach, performing songs like “Welcome to Vietnam” and “Love the Smile of Vietnam” was not only an opportunity to spread the country’s beliefs and aspirations but also a memorable moment in his career.
The consecutive appearances in two cultural and artistic events on September 2nd this year continue to show that Hoang Bach is one of the artists with many performances in many musical and cultural events associated with the country's changes in the recent period.
