To safely transport 1,257 officers and soldiers along with materials, equipment, and luggage of units in the Southern region, the Department of Motorbikes and Transport (General Department of Logistics and Engineering) coordinated with the railway industry to rent 2 trains to transport the forces to the units: Train No. 1 (train SE67) carried more than 600 officers and soldiers of Military Region 5 and Army Corps 34 from Hanoi station to Da Nang station and Dieu Tri station; Train No. 2 (train SE63) carried nearly 600 officers and soldiers of Military Region 7, Military Region 9, Navy and Army Corps 34 from Hanoi station to Saigon station, through the transit stations of Da Nang and Nha Trang.


Before the train departed, Major General Phung Ngoc Son came to encourage officers and soldiers of the parade units of Military Region 5 and Army Corps 34, recognizing the sense of responsibility and outstanding efforts of the entire force during the training, joint training and participation in the parade.
“You have excellently completed your tasks, making an important contribution to the overall success of the great festival of the whole nation. Each march, each parade formation is an affirmation of the strength, bravery and discipline of the Vietnam People's Army. I believe that when you return to your units, you will continue to promote that spirit in training, work, and combat readiness, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people,” Major General Phung Ngoc Son emphasized.


Present at the train station to see off the delegation, Mr. Trinh Van Quy - a veteran of Van Mieu ward (Hanoi) emotionally expressed: "Our generation has been through war so we understand the value of discipline and solidarity in the army. Looking at you today in the parade, I see myself in the past. We are proud and believe that the young generation will follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, upholding the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army."




Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thu (Hanoi) shared: “The soldiers had to practice hard under the scorching sun and pouring rain to have such a grand and heroic parade. With the affection of thousands of people, we hope that the past days in Hanoi will become beautiful memories in the soldiers’ lives.”


Lieutenant Pham Ngoc Khanh, Cyber Operations Unit, after completing the A80 mission, also shared his feelings: “Standing in the parade formation at the historic Ba Dinh Square is a great honor for me and my teammates. The days of hard training have helped us bond and mature. I clearly feel the responsibility of the younger generation to continue to train and contribute more to be worthy of the tradition and trust of the people.”
