Quang Phu Ward Women's Union launched a campaign to clean up the environment and build a civilized urban area.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has issued decisions and directives on personnel work; perfected the apparatus, developed working regulations for the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; and issued documents guiding the key tasks of the union in the last months of the year and the women's movement in 2026. The Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union directed the commune-level Women's Unions to urgently deploy the activities and tasks of their units according to the new model, in order to arouse the spirit of innovation and creativity in performing tasks. Reviewed the situation of union members at the unit, ensuring that the system of branches and women's groups operated smoothly and consistently in the expertise and organization of the union; successfully completed the tasks, targets and directions set out at the beginning of the year and in the congress resolution.
In the beginning, there were many changes in terms of organization and activities, but the associations at all levels still ensured continuity, seriously implemented the annual theme, and successfully completed the assigned tasks and targets. In particular, the holidays, anniversaries, and important political events of the province and the locality were still proactively and jointly implemented by the associations at all levels, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere and affirming the role of the association. Typical examples are: general environmental cleaning to celebrate the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), participating in activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee, the August Revolution in 1945, participating in preventing and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3; organizing propaganda and educational activities to welcome the Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, and the Women's Congress at all levels...
After the merger, the Women's Union of Tinh Gia Ward has 38 women's branches, with more than 8,200 members. In order to ensure uninterrupted union activities, on the first day of taking up the new position, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the Ward, and the staff of the agency urgently rearranged the office, organized the first meeting of the executive committee to deploy key tasks for July and the last 6 months of 2025. Ms. Sen shared: "One of the important priorities is that we review and update the number of women's members, consolidate the system of branches, groups, clubs, models... to ensure smooth and continuous union activities and women's movements".
Ms. Vu Bich Hue, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Tay Do Commune, shared: "After the merger, the commune now has 28 branches, with more than 4,000 members. Operating the new model, we have organized many meetings to deploy tasks. Although the number of branches and members has increased, the large area is a challenge for grassroots union officials, but we always determine to make efforts to fulfill our role well, worthy of the trust of the Party and the People".
Along with the political system, government officials at all levels, many female officials in general and union officials in particular carry new responsibilities. In that context, it requires union officials to constantly consolidate and improve their capacity in managing and operating union activities and women's movements. The women's union officials at ward and commune levels consider this an opportunity to make efforts, strive, and continue to contribute to the development of women.
The road ahead is certainly full of work and challenges. Promoting the inner strength and will of women in the new era, union officials at all levels will always be an important factor, directly contributing to the success of the two-level local government organization model. Currently, the Provincial Women's Union is directing the Women's Union branches in wards and communes to continue to effectively implement the theme for 2025: "Promoting the role of women in participating in Party building, a clean and strong political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national growth". Effectively implementing emulation movements and campaigns, including the emulation movement "Building Thanh Hoa women in the new era, patriotic, benevolent, self-reliant, self-reliant, aspiring to rise up" associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh. Promote the movement "Digital literacy", the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's, contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values". Effectively implement key tasks, such as: supporting women in economic development, integration; implementing social security programs... Participate in Party and government building, proactively advise Party committees, coordinate with authorities at all levels to propose, discover, introduce and create a source of female cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige to prepare female personnel to participate in Party congresses at all levels and run for the 16th National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. In particular, promote the preparation of women's congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, for the commune level to be completed before October 2025; for the provincial level to be completed before December 2025.
