Two Hanoi Metro lines serve nearly 1.8 million passengers on National Day September 2

On the occasion of National Day September 2, Hanoi Metro also implemented many practical activities, contributing to serving the people and tourists coming to the capital to attend and watch the parades and marches.

Many people chose the Cat Linh-Ha Dong train as a means of transportation to the area to watch the parade and marching ceremony.

During the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 this year (from August 21 to September 2), according to statistics from Hanoi Railway One Member Limited Liability Company (Hanoi Metro), the two urban railway lines Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station safely transported nearly 1.8 million passengers.

In 4 days alone (August 30 to September 2), following the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Company organized free services for passengers and served nearly 690,000 passengers.

Of which, the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route serves over 468,000 passengers free of charge and the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station (elevated section Nhon-Cau Giay) over 217,000 passengers.

Notably, on September 1, the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route set a new record when it transported more than 165,000 passengers in just one day, the highest passenger volume ever on this route.

"This figure continues to affirm the important role of urban railways in reducing congestion and ensuring smooth traffic during major national holidays," Hanoi Metro leaders added.

On the occasion of National Day September 2, Hanoi Metro also implemented many practical activities, contributing to serving the people and tourists coming to the capital to attend and watch the important parades and marches of the country.

To spread the message of "safety - convenience - environmental friendliness", Hanoi Metro has coordinated with partners such as Grab, VietABank, Coca-Cola, Banh Mi Pho, Bao Ngoc and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , the Hanoi Red Cross Society, to carry out many meaningful activities to serve the people.

Specifically, in 4 days (from August 30 to September 2), Hanoi Metro and its partners distributed nearly 40,000 bottles of water and more than 2,000 sandwiches and cakes of all kinds to passengers participating in activities in the A80 event series.

Hanoi Metro also sincerely apologizes for the limitations, shortcomings and imperfections in the process of passengers using the unit's services, especially during peak times, when travel demand increases.

With a long-term development orientation, Hanoi Metro hopes that more and more people in the capital will choose urban railways as a regular means of transportation in their daily lives. This is not only a safe, convenient and time-saving solution for each passenger, but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion, protecting the environment and building a civilized and modern capital.
