Tinh Thon 2 Hamlet, Xuan Hoa Commune stands out with its "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential area.

Having become a regular activity, on weekends, Trung Thanh villagers actively participate in cleaning the environment and beautifying the roads. While taking care of and trimming the potted plants in the village cultural house with the villagers, Party cell secretary and head of Trung Thanh village, Le Tien Dung, happily shared: “Cleaning and taking care of trees and ornamental plants along the roads has become a regular activity for the villagers. Building a “bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe” residential area is always done voluntarily by the villagers without having to propagate or mobilize.”

In order to create consensus among the people, over the years, the Party Committee, Party cell, and Front working committee of Trung Thanh village have always implemented the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people benefit", thereby helping the people understand the purpose and meaning of the movement and voluntarily contribute their efforts and money to implement it through many practical and effective activities. From 2023 to now, many households have voluntarily donated nearly 400m2 of land, dismantled auxiliary works to widen roads from 4m to 7.5m; built 100% of the drainage system with covers to ensure the environment, built 5km of roads; 100% of the roads in the village are concreted and paved.

In the past time, the people in the village have planted 5km of flower roads and ornamental plants to replace weeds along the road; renovated the fence, gate, and campus of the village cultural house; installed 110 lighting bulbs and 22 security cameras, contributing to ensuring security and order in the village. Since then, it has contributed to building Trung Thanh village more and more prosperous, in 2024 the village will achieve the model new rural area and is on the journey to build a smart village.

With the motto "Going to every alley, knocking on every door" to mobilize each person in the form of "slow and steady wins the race", the construction of a "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential area in Tinh Thon 2 village has contributed to creating the first model new-style rural area of the commune. Walking on clean, spacious roads with rows of green trees and colorful national flags hanging along both sides of the road, the head of Tinh Thon 2 village, Do Van Tien, proudly said: "In order for people to agree, the village executive committee determined that it was necessary to create consensus among the people by holding meetings, discussing openly and democratically, helping people understand and agree to implement. Therefore, up to now, the village has mobilized people to contribute to installing 200 lighting lights, of which residential group No. 7 has installed a solar-powered lighting system; installed 13 cameras on the main roads in the village, thereby contributing to ensuring security and order".

To effectively implement the movement, Tinh Thon 2 village also established an executive board, assigning specific tasks to each cadre and party member in propagating and mobilizing people to actively participate in effectively implementing the movement to ensure clean and beautiful residential areas. From the good implementation of promoting democracy among the people, it has attracted the participation of many people. Up to now, all roads in the village are planted with trees and ornamental plants, mainly bougainvillea trees. And it has also become a beauty of the village, on weekends, households clean up the village roads and alleys together, creating a clean and beautiful space.

Xuan Hoa commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Xuan Hoa, Tho Hai, Xuan Hung and Tho Dien. Up to now, the commune has 6/27 villages achieving model villages, with an estimated average income per capita in 2025 of 77.1 million VND. After being consolidated and put into operation under the new model, Xuan Hoa commune has focused on promoting new rural construction with many specific and practical actions, notably the movement of "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential areas. To maintain and develop the movement, the commune continues to consolidate the steering committee for building "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential areas and assign specific tasks to each member to effectively deploy and implement the contents of the movement. Up to now, this movement has increasingly gone into depth in 100% of the villages in the commune.

With the joint efforts of the people and local authorities, Xuan Hoa has become a livable countryside with a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape and environment, ensuring security and order. From there, it has continuously improved the lives of the people, contributing to making Xuan Hoa an advanced rural commune before 2030.
