(Baothanhhoa.vn) - In the exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the new rural areas seem to be filled with new vitality, full of flags, flowers... That achievement is due to the joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. The models of "Clean house, beautiful garden, green fence", "Green vegetable garden, clean house, tidy barn", "Model road"... have been creating a livable space.

In May and June 2023, My Quan village (Ha Vinh commune, old Ha Trung district), now Bim Son ward, was surveyed and selected by the Provincial Women's Union and grassroots associations to implement the model "Clean house - Beautiful garden - Green fence". The model is an important part of the New Rural Construction movement associated with the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean". Mr. Bui Van Hung, Head of the model shared: "Implementing the model was not easy at first. Many households were hesitant because they did not meet the conditions to participate due to their degraded houses, unclean landscapes, and some households had financial difficulties so they did not respond. However, thanks to the persistent advocacy of the Women's Union and village officials, people later actively participated".

Ms. Mai Thi Chien (50 years old), her husband died early, she works as a factory worker so she has no conditions to renovate the house. The Women's Union mobilized members and neighbors to support her family in clearing grass, patching walls, painting the house and rearranging the landscape. After more than 3 months, her family was recognized as one of 12 typical households that met the standards.

There are 12 households participating in this model. The households received contributions from members, technical advice, and mobilized human resources to construct the items. The Provincial Women's Union supported seedlings, and people planted and bought more to continue planting. Men in the hamlet actively pulled ropes, dug holes, planted trees, installed electric lights at night... each person had a job and always supported each other to meet the criteria. From July 1, 2025, implementing a 2-level local government, My Quan village was changed to My Quan Residential Group, in Bim Son ward. The model "Clean House - Beautiful Garden - Green Fence" is still maintained and strongly promoted. My Quan residents understand that preserving the landscape and environment is not only for cleanliness but also contributes to changing the urban appearance and improving the quality of life. Up to now, the model has 12 households recognized as meeting the criteria and has spread to 23 households in the group. Households actively plant flowers, clean up alleys and propose new ideas to beautify the local landscape.

Coming to village 4 of Yen Ninh commune, traveling on a model road of more than 1km, you can freely admire the golden rice fields on one side and the spacious, solid houses next to each other on the other side, enough to see the peaceful life of the people here. Head of village 4 Nguyen Van Thong shared: Previously, this road was very small and difficult to travel. From the New Rural Construction movement, the Party cell received the attention of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune and determined to renovate and build the road into a model, creating a green highlight for the village. People proactively contributed to clearing the corridor of wild trees to make room for planting rows of areca trees combined with jade-eyed trees and flowers, creating a landscape that is both cool and beautiful. Every week, households take turns watering and pruning.

Inheriting the achievements in the new rural construction in the old communes, in addition to economic development, the new communes after implementing the 2-level local government continue to promote the construction of landscapes, bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe environment. In addition to green fences, clean houses, beautiful gardens, green vegetable gardens... all main roads in villages and residential groups in the communes and wards are installed with security camera systems, roads have drainage ditches, flowers, ornamental plants...

Our first impression of the revolutionary countryside in the communes of Thieu Toan, Thieu Tien, Yen Ninh, Tho Lap... and the model NTM communes, advanced NTM communes such as: Truong Son, Quang Binh , Tho Ngoc, Nhu Xuan, Ngoc Lac, Thach Lap, Yen Dinh, Dinh Tan... life here is quite peaceful and warm. Along the central roads of the communes, there are rows of Bauhinia and bougainvillea trees in full bloom, colorful flower carpets, inter-village and inter-hamlet roads are concreted clean, airy, and have electric lighting. Behind many spacious houses are clean and beautiful gardens.

With the motto "The State and the People work together" in the New Rural Development, in addition to the stimulus budget from the higher levels, localities mainly mobilize socialization to build flower and tree-lined roads, place trash bins, light bulbs to light up the countryside roads... to create rural beauty; many units issue resolutions, have stimulus mechanisms, organize movements, competitions... to create motivation, a competitive spirit and high determination to implement. When the model was formed, the people realized the benefits, so many households proactively participated, creating "flower carpets", "green trees", rows of houses with flowers, neat and clean gardens that make anyone passing by want to stop and admire.

The positive signs are present in every house, every model road... creating a beautiful picture of many livable countrysides. This is the result of the process of building new rural areas with the efforts and enthusiasm of the people and local authorities.
