The special national art program with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is an important political - cultural event of the country. Through the program, we aim to honor the 80-year journey of formation and development of the new Vietnam: from the struggle for independence, defending the Fatherland to the cause of innovation and integration; at the same time, it is a tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs and compatriots and soldiers nationwide who sacrificed for independence, unification, peace and development; and inspire the aspiration to contribute, innovate, and develop a prosperous and happy country in the new era, especially for the young generation.
The program was elaborately staged on a grand scale with the participation of nearly 3,000 professional and non-professional artists, along with orchestras, choirs and mass actors from many major art units across the country.

The program "80 years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is divided into three chapters with tight content, profound art and politics.
The opening chapter, titled "The Road to Independence and Unification", recreates the heroic history of the nation from the long night of slavery to the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, the Dien Bien Phu victory and the Great Spring Victory of 1975, unifying the country.
The highlight is the symphony "My Fatherland" resounding like a call to arms combining the symphony and folk orchestra with more than 1,000 dancers opening a grand choral picture of love for the homeland; immediately following is the content "Voluntary - Praising the Fatherland" continuing the emotional flow, evoking the spirit of dedication and the ideal of living for the Fatherland...
Chapter two "Aspiration for the Fatherland" opens up a renewed, developed and integrated Vietnam with images and artistic video clips depicting the unified and joyful atmosphere of the nation after 1975. Immediately after that, the song "Em di giu bien vang" resonates in the space of modern folk music combined with "Hat ve cay lua hom nay"...
Chapter three "My Fatherland, Never So Beautiful" has a strong contemporary tone, connecting the past - present - future, spreading the message of national unity and aspiration of Vietnam to reach far. Opening with the song and dance performance "The strength of unity - Joining hands together"...
