Art performance at the program "Proud of tradition - continuing the feat" organized by the Provincial Military Command.
More than 50 thousand spectators filled My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ) together put their hands on their hearts and sang the song "Tien Quan Ca" in unison. This was the most touching and memorable moment in the art program "Fatherland in the Heart" that took place on the evening of August 10. In the brilliance of the red flag with yellow star, when the melody of the sacred epic resounded, when the artistic language set the rhythm for thousands of hearts to beat together, the sacred sympathy for the eternal existence of the Fatherland and the nation surged like rolling waves.
As an audience member joining the crowd watching “Fatherland in the Heart” live, Pham Thi To Uyen, a student at the Foreign Trade University, from Hoang Hoa Commune ( Thanh Hoa Province), shared: “The first feeling I had was pride and emotion when I was immersed in a meaningful artistic space. The program aroused in many students a spirit of patriotism, along with deep gratitude when recreating the historical milestones of the country associated with the image of the red flag with a yellow star, conveying a strong message about the spirit of national solidarity”.
With its culturally and politically meaningful content, “Fatherland in the Heart” is not only a purely artistic political program, but also a thread that heals the past, inspires the present and opens the way for the future. And when the audience sees themselves and their generation in the historical flow of the nation, “Fatherland is not far away - Fatherland is in the heart of each person”.
In the endless flow of pride and love for the Fatherland, after the memorable concert "Fatherland in the Heart", on the evening of August 17, more than 30 thousand audiences attended the special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" taking place in the capital Hanoi. As one of the key national activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, "Proud to be Vietnamese" recreated the golden pages of history from the time of the Hung Kings building the country, the victories against foreign invaders to the guiding light of the Party leading the Vietnamese people to write a heroic epic after 80 years of the country's founding. The heroic songs, the melodies that have accompanied the years have harmonized, creating a "symphony" of the origin and the aspiration for peace, creating a brilliant future in the historic autumn days.
Perhaps never before have there been so many anticipated “national concerts”. A series of large-scale programs such as “V Concert - Radiant Vietnam”, “Under the Glorious Flag”, “Hanoi - From the Historical Autumn of 1945”, “Independence Star”, “Vietnam in Me”... were held during the days when the whole country was joyfully welcoming the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, becoming a series of large-scale cultural activities, eagerly awaited by the public. There are no international stars, no trendy music, just political music nights with familiar songs about the homeland and country, but attracting people of very different ages, occupations, circumstances... with the same heartbeat towards the Fatherland. In particular, political and artistic programs are also watched by millions of viewers on social networking platforms, from which patriotism and national pride are spread every minute, deeply penetrating the minds of all classes of people, across all regions of the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends, beautifying and brightening the image of a peaceful and happy Vietnam.
In addition to cultural and artistic events, the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, with the highlight being the parade and march solemnly held at the historic Ba Dinh Square, is an opportunity for the army and people of the whole country to review the heroic history when the whole nation rose up to drive out the fascists, regain power for the people, and give birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. At the same time, it honors the glorious history and great achievements after 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland. This is a national-scale event, organized to pay tribute and commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence, to arouse patriotism among the people, and especially to strongly inspire the younger generation about responsibility, ideals and aspirations to contribute to the country.
As a person selected to join the flight squadron, Major Do Van Chien, from Thanh Hoa, currently working at Regiment 917 (Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force), shared: “I feel very honored and proud to be part of the helicopter squadron flying the Party flag and the national flag flying in the sky of Ba Dinh Square at the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. After A50, this is the second time I have participated in a major national event, so I have worked hard to train to excellently complete the assigned task.”
The land of Thanh Hoa is proud to have contributed many glorious victories in the struggles for national liberation throughout the country's history. During the August Revolution in 1945, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Viet Minh led the people of all walks of life to rise up and carry out a successful general uprising within a week. It was a quick uprising to seize power, with little bloodshed and little damage; it was a victory of the will and spirit of the entire people for the goal of national independence. Over the past 80 years, generations of cadres, soldiers of the armed forces and the people of Thanh Hoa have continued to write heroic epics and golden pages of history in the two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the invading American imperialists. And until today, Thanh Hoa has continued to strive to make worthy contributions to the proud and glorious journey of the country.
Joining the flow of cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, Thanh Hoa organized many large-scale art and cultural programs, leaving a deep impression on the audience. The highlight was the art program "Thanh Hoa - Proud of the country" which took place on the evening of September 2. The program not only reminded people of the glorious and heroic history of Thanh but also spread a strong message about the will to be self-reliant and the aspiration to rise up of the land rich in revolutionary traditions.
The “torch of peace” our ancestors have passed down and the responsibility of future generations is to make that torch always shine brightly. So that the light of happiness that peace brings will shine throughout this land. So that the peaceful and independent autumns will help us to be more confident under the glorious flag of the Party, together building Vietnam to be increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic!
