On the evening of September 1, at the National Convention Center, Party and State leaders held a solemn reception to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were General Secretary To Lam and his wife; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong and his wife; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his wife; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Politburo members, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee, Vice Presidents, Deputy Prime Ministers, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, former leaders of the Party and State; members of the Central Steering Committee celebrating major holidays and important historical events of the country; leaders representing central departments, ministries, branches, organizations and leaders of provinces and cities.

Also attending were Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, outstanding People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, representatives of religions, ethnic minorities, intellectuals, scientists , artists, youth and outstanding overseas Vietnamese.

International delegates: The delegation of the Kingdom of Cambodia was led by Mr. Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate of Cambodia; the delegation of the Party and State of the Republic of Cuba was led by First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez; the delegation of the Party and State of China was led by Comrade Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China; the delegation of the State of Belarus was led by Mr. Igor Sergeenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives; the delegation of the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic was led by Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith; the delegation of the Russian Federation was led by First Vice Chairman of the Federation Council of the National Assembly of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Yakushev; representatives of political parties, governments of countries, ambassadors, representatives, heads of international organizations in Vietnam and international friends.
