Vietnamese intellectuals accompany the nation in the important event of celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day

In the sacred atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), 190 delegates of the Vietnamese Intellectual Bloc were honored to be selected to participate in the parade at Ba Dinh Square - an important event of the country.

These are outstanding faces, including civil servants, public employees, young scientists who won the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award and excellent students from many leading agencies, universities and research institutes such as the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Ministry of Education and Training , the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the National Economics University, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Phenikaa University, VinUni University...

The training session of the Vietnamese Intellectual Bloc took place in two phases from August 12 to August 15 and from August 20 to August 24, 2025, after which they participated in joint training, preliminary rehearsals and general rehearsals with other forces at Ba Dinh Square.

At the meeting with the delegation, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of serious training and responsibility of the members with the support and assistance of military officers of Division 301 - Hanoi Capital Command, and expressed his belief: "Participating in the A80 mission is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility, because each member is both a representative of the agency, organization, and the image of the pioneering generation of Vietnamese intellectuals on the science and technology front."

The Deputy Minister asked the delegates to continue promoting the spirit of coordination, complying with discipline, and strictly following the instructions of the training force to achieve the best results, best serving the A80 mission this time, worthy of the trust that the Party, State, and people have placed in them.

Receiving the instructions of the Deputy Minister, comrade Tran Xuan Bach, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology affirmed that the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (task A80) is of special importance to the country. 190 delegates of the Vietnamese Intellectual Bloc will continue to practice and prepare carefully, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and the highest responsibility to excellently complete task A80, contributing to the success of this important event.

The 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) is an occasion for the entire nation to review the glorious history and affirm the great historical stature of the Revolution that gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The event not only recreates the heroic spirit of the nation in the journey to gain independence, but also honors the mature strength of the People's Army, Militia and Self-Defense Force and People's Public Security over eight decades under the leadership of the Party.

A80 is also a profound lesson about the tradition of patriotism, national solidarity, the desire for peace and national pride; at the same time, it reminds today's generations to always be grateful for the sacrifices of their ancestors to affirm the will to build and protect a prosperous and happy Fatherland.

In that general picture, the presence of the Vietnamese Intellectual Bloc further clarifies the pioneering role of Vietnamese intelligence, affirming that intellectuals are not only a source of innovation and creativity, but also a force that combines knowledge with social responsibility, accompanying the nation on the path of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era.
