On the occasion of September 2nd this year, Can Tho organized many rich and attractive cultural and sports activities; tourist areas and spots in the city also had many promotional activities to stimulate demand, attracting a bustling crowd of visitors.

According to Mr. Sam Long Giang, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city, during the 4-day holiday (from August 30 to September 2, 2025), Can Tho welcomed a large number of visitors, with total revenue from tourism estimated at more than 318 billion VND.

In particular, with the cool green space, typical of the Mekong Delta, the tourist and garden resorts in Can Tho city have become ideal destinations attracting a large number of tourists during this holiday.

Can Tho city organizes many rich cultural and sports activities to attract tourists.

During the 4-day holiday, Can Tho city is estimated to welcome more than 256,400 visitors (an increase of 7% over the same period in 2024). The total number of guests staying is estimated at more than 92,800 (an increase of 13% over the same period in 2024). The average room occupancy rate across the city is estimated at about 60% (in particular, Ninh Kieu and Cai Khe wards are estimated at about 70%). Total tourism revenue during the 4-day holiday is estimated at more than 318 billion VND (an increase of 19% over the same period in 2024).
