Among them, there are many decorative clusters that are especially loved by the public for "check-in" such as: the floating model of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the central area, with the image of Uncle Ho reading Nhan Dan Newspaper and many scenes of the country's famous landscapes changing on the LED screen; or the display cluster highlighting the saying of President Ho Chi Minh : "Our Party has only one purpose, which is to serve the people, so the Party's newspaper is called Nhan Dan"...
On an exhibition area of 300m2 , the Exhibition introduces to the public hundreds of documents affirming the important mark and position of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.
The exhibition space is organized into sections: “The birth of Nhan Dan Newspaper – In the flash of bullets and bullets”; “Accompanying the country”, “Heart and pen”, “Red mark on the revolutionary journey”. From there, the audience will explore the journey of growth and development of Nhan Dan Newspaper in particular and revolutionary journalism in general.
In particular, the Exhibition dedicates the “Experience Station” space to display a number of publications and special supplements of Nhan Dan Newspaper, at the same time, creating an experience space with press products using technology combined with introducing the virtual Traditional House of Nhan Dan Newspaper... Along with that is the “Transformation in the digital age” space showing videos about digital transformation, products, and events of Nhan Dan Newspaper applying digital technology and innovation...
Notably, during the exhibition, there were many interesting activities attracting the public to interact and exchange. The highlight was the activity of introducing and giving away free copies of the September 2 supplement celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day to readers.
This is a special supplement consisting of two parts: The first part recreates the image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, and prints the entire Declaration of Independence - the immortal document affirming the independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people; The second part introduces 80 outstanding events in the past 80 years in the fields of politics, economics, society, foreign affairs, culture...
Interestingly, readers can find many “digital gifts” in this supplement to “travel back in time” to the historic moment of September 2, exactly 80 years ago, with a virtual reality experience at Ba Dinh Square, a 3D model of the Independence Monument in augmented reality (AR) format that allows users to “check-in” with the monument in any space, and experience listening to the Declaration of Independence on Spotify and Tiktok.
To own this unique supplement, many people did not hesitate to line up in long lines waiting for their turn to receive it.
Along with the activity of giving away the 2/9 supplement to the public, on 3/9, the exhibition area also held a challenge activity with MC AI for visitors to the exhibition. This activity attracted many young people to try their hand at being a program host, thereby understanding more about the history of Nhan Dan Newspaper as well as the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh (76 years old, from Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh) said she was extremely excited to visit the exhibition space of Nhan Dan Newspaper - a newspaper that always provides authentic and reliable information, reflects the breath of life and maintains the people's trust.
In particular, holding the special supplement of Nhan Dan Newspaper on September 2nd, Ms. My Hanh felt extremely moved, especially when seeing the image of Uncle Ho - the beloved Father of the nation and the Declaration of Independence. These are sacred images that any Vietnamese person, when encountering, will feel a deep gratitude and national pride.
As one of the participants in the MC challenge, Tu Anh (7th grade student at Linh Nam Secondary School, Hanoi) shared that she found it extremely interesting to participate in the mini game, through which she could better understand how to take a breath, pause, and present slowly and moderately when hosting the program.
“Visiting the exhibition, I was impressed with every detail in the display space of Nhan Dan Newspaper. The details were selected and arranged very meticulously and delicately. I was most impressed with the “Experience Station” area because in this space, I was able to hold, touch, and learn about many newspapers and publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and especially was given a 2/9 supplement” - Tu Anh expressed.
