(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of July 4, the Party Committee of the Thanh Hoa Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board held its First Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Mai Xuan Liem, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representative of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee attended and directed the Congress.

The disbursement result of medium-term public investment capital for the period 2021-2025 reached over 93%.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem praised the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Party Committee of the Thanh Hoa Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board in preparing and organizing the Congress; at the same time, he requested the Board to adjust and supplement some contents of the political report to suit the actual situation.

He emphasized: In the context of Thanh Hoa's rapid development, the requirement for a modern, synchronous, regionally connected transport infrastructure system, connecting Nghi Son Economic Zone and key industrial zones has become a prerequisite. The Party Committee of the Committee needs to continue to affirm its role, focus on leadership and direction to successfully implement key political tasks, especially in the field of dynamic infrastructure projects, contributing to realizing the aspiration of making Thanh Hoa a new growth pole.

To successfully achieve the goal, he suggested that the Party Committee of the Board continue to strengthen the Party Committee's comprehensive leadership role in investment management tasks, ensuring close connection between political and professional tasks; synchronously and resolutely deploy key transport projects to ensure progress, quality and safety, especially strategic projects such as coastal roads and main routes connecting economic zones and industrial parks.

In particular, he requested the Thanh Hoa Transport Project Management Board to proactively coordinate with localities to speed up site clearance, considering this a key factor determining the progress of projects. Along with that, continue to innovate management thinking, promote administrative reform and digital transformation.

“The Party Committee of the Board needs to build a real-time database management system for project works; strongly apply investment management software, remote construction supervision, progress management and electronic payment records, in line with the trend of digital government,” Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem pointed out.

Along with that, he requested the unit to strengthen supervision and strictly handle consulting units and contractors that violate commitments on progress, quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation; build a team of cadres with capacity, political courage, professional ethics, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility; continue to pay attention to training, professional development, strengthen discipline and order to form a streamlined and effective team, meeting the requirements of the new stage.
