On July 9, in his closing speech at the 4th conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central organizations emphasized key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.

He requested the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to continue to promote its spirit and responsibility, encourage businesses and people to strive to achieve the growth target of 8% in 2025; participate in preparing contents related to Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, first of all the Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations for the 2025-2030 term; prepare well for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels...

According to comrade Do Van Chien, Directive 48-CT/TW of the Secretariat on leading the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term clearly stated to increase the number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels. Accordingly, the Central level is 400-500 people, the provincial level is 90-120 people, the commune level is 50-70 people. Some large and specific areas will follow the instructions of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Also according to comrade Do Van Chien, implementing the direction of the Central Committee, the affiliated party organizations in socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State will be reorganized, in accordance with and in sync with the local government model after reorganization and rearrangement.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the Presidium with a report on the consultation of personnel to join the Committee, the Presidium, and the Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029. Specifically, the personnel participating in the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front includes 23 delegates (representing member organizations are 2 delegates, Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities are 19 delegates, typical individuals are 1 delegate, and full-time staff is 1 delegate).

The Presidium consists of 7 delegates. Of which, 1 representative is a member organization, 5 are Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities, and 1 is a full-time officer.

Regarding the personnel of the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, implementing the project of rearranging and streamlining the agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State, the Party Central Committee has approved the number of delegates of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as 9-11. In which, the structure of the chairmen of 5 socio-political organizations is the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed to consult and elect delegates of the Presidium members to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the conference, the members of the Presidium unanimously voted to approve the content of the submission for the 4th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, to consult on appointing personnel to participate in the Committee, the Presidium, and Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, term 2024-2029.
