The growth momentum comes from a series of key infrastructure projects being accelerated such as the Lien Chieu - Hoa Lien expressway, international airport expansion, smart urban areas, coastal tourism infrastructure... Of which, construction of all types of houses alone increased by more than 50%; construction of civil engineering works increased by nearly 11%.

In addition, the residential and tourism real estate markets have recovered positively with many hotel, resort and commercial housing projects restarting. Business support policies and administrative procedure reforms have also contributed to boosting the construction industry.

Total social investment capital in the area is estimated at nearly VND22,000 billion, up more than 42% over the same period. Of which, the non-state sector reached nearly VND15,000 billion (up nearly 57%), the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector reached nearly VND2,000 billion (up 42%) and the state sector reached nearly VND5,000 billion.

Notably, public investment capital from the local budget reached more than VND3,340 billion, up 18% and reaching nearly 40% of the annual plan. This shows that disbursement efforts are being effective in promoting socio -economic development of the whole city.
