In particular, the commencement and operation of a series of large factories has created significant momentum, contributing to improving the production capacity of the entire industry and consolidating the province's industrial position.

Many large-scale industrial projects have been started and put into operation since the beginning of the year, such as: Nghi Son Steel Rolling Mill No. 2, Project No. 1 - Duc Giang Nghi Son Chemical Complex, Nam Ich Thai Thang Textile Factory, Automobile Wiring Harness Manufacturing, Processing and Installation Factory, Hop Thang Industrial Cluster, Outdoor Gear Vietnam Factory... Not only contributing to increasing the industrial scale of the province, these factories also make an important contribution to job creation, increasing income and contributing to the budget revenue.

Hop Thang Industrial Park started construction in February 2025 with a scale of 70 hectares and a total investment of VND525 billion. According to the plan, the entire technical infrastructure system of the project will be completed by June 2026. According to the representative of the investor - Truong Dai Loc Investment Joint Stock Company, at this time, the high prices of input materials, especially fill soil and construction sand, have significantly affected the progress and implementation costs. However, the enterprise has proactively taken many response solutions such as proactively storing all necessary materials right in the industrial park, focusing on maximum human resources and means for continuous construction. "We are determined to complete the project ahead of schedule, with the expectation of acceptance and putting the industrial park infrastructure into operation in the third quarter of 2025 - nearly a year earlier than the approved schedule", said Mr. Tran Van He, General Director of Truong Dai Loc Investment Joint Stock Company.

In industrial parks (IPs) such as Hoang Long IP and Le Mon IP, a number of factories producing electronic components, mechanical equipment, and garments for export have also been operating stably, creating thousands of jobs and contributing significantly to the province's industrial output. In addition, rural industrial production enterprises have also seen positive changes. Many small-scale handicraft establishments have invested in technological innovation and expanded production scale, typically: the production of fine art wooden furniture, forest product processing, and handicraft production have been expanded.

The province's industrial production index (IIP) in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 15% over the same period. This is an impressive increase in the context of input costs, consumer markets and investment capital sources still fluctuating. According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, the growth of the industrial sector was mainly driven by the recovery of many key industries, with the participation of new factories in the operating industry. Of the 16 main industrial products, 8 products recorded high output increases over the same period. Notably, sports shoes increased by 41.6%; crystalline sugar increased by 35.8%; ready-made garments increased by 26.8%; steel of all kinds increased by 21.3%...

In addition to concentrated industrial parks, industrial promotion activities in localities have also been effectively implemented, creating a solid foundation for rural industrial development. Programs to support the application of advanced machinery and equipment, vocational training and trade promotion have helped many production establishments stabilize output and improve competitiveness. Thanh Hoa Industry and Trade Promotion Center said that from now until the end of the year, it will continue to promote local industrial promotion programs associated with practical needs, especially focusing on strong products such as: wood products, medicinal herbs, processed agricultural products, handicrafts... to support businesses in improving production efficiency.

Currently, the industry and trade sector is strengthening its direction to grasp the operational situation, promptly supporting the resolution of difficulties and obstacles, creating all conditions for enterprises to stably produce and consume products, especially products with the ability to increase output, maximize capacity to compensate for the shortage of industrial production value for products with reduced output. In addition, the unit focuses on advising the province to direct the resolution of difficulties and obstacles, speed up the implementation of industrial production projects, investment projects in industrial park infrastructure that have been included in the planning but have not attracted investors. At the same time, the province is also focusing on removing "bottlenecks" in infrastructure, land, investment procedures... to attract clean, high-tech industrial projects, contributing to raising the position of Thanh Hoa industry in the regional production value chain.
