Accordingly, the goal is to strive by 2030 for Lam Dong to become a "Green Paradise" with the attraction of the leading resort - ecological - health care - high-class sports tourism centers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, comprehensively developing in terms of scope, scale, quality of human resources and services, diversifying product chains... Developing green and sustainable tourism is the top goal in the development orientation of the three pillars of the province, aiming to attract more and more domestic and international tourists to Lam Dong. Accordingly, the locality always "accompanies" the national growth strategy, by closely following the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee. In recent years, Lam Dong province is considered successful in the green transformation of the province's tourism industry. Accordingly, the number of visitors to visit and relax in the province is increasing day by day, revenue from tourism and services also increases year by year. It can be affirmed that the tourism development roadmap of Lam Dong province is always closely linked to the national development strategy. The achievements in socio -economic, national defense and security that Lam Dong province has achieved in recent years have further strengthened the belief that the locality will soon achieve green and sustainable growth in tourism development.
Currently, Lam Dong province is continuing on the journey of developing green tourism with plans to develop new tourism products to attract domestic and international tourists. Accordingly, the province is developing green tourism products to promote the values of resources and protect the environment; developing cultural tourism products associated with festivals; promoting the development of eco-tourism products of forests - waterfalls - lakes - islands, nature conquest tourism, adventure tourism, agricultural eco-tourism, health care tourism... Many tourism businesses have applied new technology, using alternative energy to reduce negative impacts on the environment, promoting digital transformation... Therefore, Lam Dong province is promoting the implementation of the project to manage, invest and exploit tourist routes and attractions in the area in the period of 2021 - 2025; effectively implementing the project of developing sustainable ecotourism with community participation in Hon Cau Marine Reserve, Lien Huong Commune, Lam Dong Province. In addition, the province is developing new products such as: Visiting Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydroelectric Lake, with four large waterfalls and nearly ten small waterfalls; conquering "forest discovery" Ta Nang...
To develop green and sustainable tourism , Lam Dong province has also increased attraction and called for capable, experienced, famous and dedicated investors to implement large projects, tourism areas and complexes, entertainment areas. In addition, the province encourages and supports investors to improve service quality and diversify tourism products, develop tourism types combining meetings, training, resorts, health care, entertainment, discovery, spiritual culture, ecology, agricultural tourism associated with improving the quality of tourism human resources, in order to attract more tourists to Lam Dong, stay longer, spend more and return more times. In addition, focus on investing in completing the infrastructure system to serve tourism development, especially expanding the transportation system connecting smoothly to key tourist areas and destinations.
Currently in Lam Dong province, green, environmentally friendly tourism is being implemented, typically Phu Quy Special Zone has formed a tour saying no to plastic waste, tourists do not bring plastic bottles, plastic bags to the island. Some communes have tourism models to experience the garden, return to the countryside, homestay, explore nature, scenic spots that are explored by many domestic and foreign tourists. Lam Dong always encourages the development of the industry of producing handicraft products, gifts with unique characteristics. As well as continuing to remove difficulties and obstacles to create favorable conditions for investment enterprises, implementing the best policies, to encourage investment in key areas, special products and improve the organization of events, annual festivals of the province... All aim to develop green, sustainable tourism, gradually turning Lam Dong tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
