According to a private source of Dan Tri reporter from Quang Ninh province, the high-class delegation of 4 people, including a world billionaire, is expected to travel by helicopter from Hanoi, landing at Van Don airport (Quang Ninh province) around noon on September 2.
The group is expected to stay in Quang Ninh for 3 days and 2 nights, mainly experiencing Ha Long Bay. Like some activities of the group of billionaires and millionaires who have visited Ha Long before, the place where the group chooses to experience will be a separate, quiet, pristine area.
In recent times, Quang Ninh has become a destination chosen by high-end tourists around the world (Photo: AAV provided).
Previously in February this year, two American millionaires, Mr. Jeff Grinspoon and Jon Thomas Foley, traveled from Ha Giang to Gia Lam (Hanoi) by helicopter, then continued to use this means of transport to Van Don on a 3-day, 2-night tour to experience Ha Long Bay.
The tour itinerary for high-end guests requires unprecedented differences, safe experiences with top security measures, pristine destinations but still need to have local cultural characteristics. These are considered "difficult" requirements and not all travel agencies in Vietnam are able to meet them.
The trip was rated by two guests as "very satisfying, one of the most meaningful programs".
In recent times, Ha Long Bay has continuously become a destination chosen by high-class groups of guests such as the families of billionaires and millionaires around the world. Some weddings of Indian billionaire families have also been held in Ha Long Bay.
Currently, Quang Ninh is considered to be doing very well in developing luxury tours.
Specifically, the province's tourism industry is about to put into operation three beaches, Soi Sim, Hang Co, and Trinh Nu, on Ha Long Bay, as well as identify seven pristine island areas and beaches for the billionaire and super-luxury segment of the world's 1% population.
At the same time, the locality is making efforts to enhance the tourism experience through connecting private yacht services to nearby islands or helicopter shuttle services, providing cultural experiences on demand.
This year, Quang Ninh province aims to welcome 20 million visitors, including 15.5 million domestic visitors and 4.5 million international visitors. In addition, the province also expects total revenue from tourism activities to reach VND50,000 billion.
