Science and Technology Exchange
In response to the practical needs of businesses in accessing and applying technological solutions, the Science and Technology Exchange was launched with a combined direct and online model at https://techmartvietnam.vn. This will be a destination to connect technology supply and demand, promote the transfer and commercialization of research results, and contribute to the development of a transparent and effective science and technology market. Currently, the Ministry of Science and Technology is continuing to perfect the technical platform, build a database, and organize a model to effectively operate the Science and Technology Exchange.
National Initiative Portal
National Science and Technology Initiative Portal, at www.sangkien.gov.vn. The National Initiative Portal is a place to receive, share and disseminate innovative ideas from all walks of life, businesses, research institutes, universities and experts at home and abroad. This platform will mobilize collective intelligence, promote the creativity of all people, and join hands to solve the country's major problems.

National strategic technology portfolio
On June 12, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg on the List of national strategic technologies and strategic products, including 11 strategic technology groups. This is a timely step, continuing to concretize the strategic technology guiding viewpoint and is one of the key and core contents identified in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .
National Techfest 2025
2025 marks the renewal of Techfest Vietnam, the largest innovation and startup event in the country.
For the first time, Techfest 2025 applies an open model: Combining an outdoor stage, an experience space along the street and in-depth sessions in the hall. The expansion of the space not only helps to visually promote startup products and services, but also connects creative businesses with the public, creating more opportunities to reach the community, consumers and investors.
Annual Future of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Report from 2026
From 2026, the Ministry of Science and Technology will annually publish the Future of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Report to provide scientific basis, data and analysis for policy making, research orientation, investment and implementation of national strategies.
The report will help the Government, businesses, institutes, schools and the scientific community have updated and accurate information to build plans, choose priorities for research, investment and development. It is also an important tool to make information transparent, spread awareness and create social consensus on the role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in improving national competitiveness, promoting sustainable development of the country in the digital age.
The 5 initiatives are a strong affirmation: Science and technology, innovation and digital transformation are the key driving forces to bring Vietnam to progress quickly and sustainably on the path of integration and development.
The Ministry of Science and Technology hopes to continue receiving the companionship, intellectual contributions and enthusiasm of scientists, universities, research institutes, businesses, experts at home and abroad, and all people to spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, create breakthrough solutions, for a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
