On August 29, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , at the invitation of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, President Liang Qiang will attend the 80th anniversary celebration of the world people's victory over fascism and work in China from September 2-4.

As reported by Thanh Nien Newspaper , on August 28 in Beijing, Chinese officials held a press conference to inform about the 80th anniversary of the world people's victory over fascism, an event including a military parade that will be held on September 3 at Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

At the press conference, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Hong Lei said 26 foreign heads of state and government will attend the event.

Notable figures expected to attend include Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, and South Korean National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik.

At the event, Chinese President Xi Jinping will review the formation of tens of thousands of soldiers in Tiananmen Square.

Previously, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Mr. Trieu Lac Te, member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, will lead a high-ranking delegation of the Chinese Party and State to pay an official visit to Vietnam, attend the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day on September 2, and co-chair the first meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China from August 31 to September 2.
