Vietnam - Highlight at ASTINDO Tourism Fair 2025

At the ASTINDO 2025 Indonesia Tourism Fair, Vietnam Airlines participated in the fair with its own booth, introducing products and promoting Vietnam's destinations.

According to a VNA reporter in Jakarta, on August 28, the ASTINDO 2025 Tourism Fair opened in Indonesia with more than 60 booths of airlines, travel agencies, hotels, resorts and tourism promotion organizations.

This is one of the biggest tourism events in Indonesia, organized annually by the Association of Indonesian Travel Agents (ASTINDO) to promote domestic and international destinations, and offer many tour packages, air tickets, and hotels with special offers.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Anton Sumarli, Vice President of the Indonesian Travel Agents Association (ASTINDO), said that the ASTINDO Travel Fair is also a forum connecting airlines, travel companies and international partners, contributing to promoting the Indonesian tourism industry.

Vietnam Airlines participated in the fair with its own booth, introducing products and promoting Vietnam's destinations. Mr. Tran Tuan Nghia, Chief Representative of Vietnam Airlines in Indonesia, affirmed that the event was an opportunity for the airline to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries, and also said that the airline plans to open more flights from Hanoi to Jakarta in the near future. He emphasized that through this event, Vietnam Airlines once again affirmed its image and position in the market.

At ASTINDO 2025, many Indonesian travel agencies also actively promoted Vietnamese destinations such as Hanoi, Sapa, and Da Nang with promotional programs and custom-designed tours.

Ms. Jeslyn Kyla, representative of Obaja Travel Agency (Indonesia), said that tourists are very impressed with Vietnam's cool climate and unique cuisine, considering these as attractive factors to return./.
