Within the framework of the National Achievement Exhibition “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Ministry of National Defense brought to the people a particularly attractive space in the outdoor area.

On the morning of August 28, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi , the opening ceremony of the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 was solemnly held.

Participating in the exhibition, the Ministry of National Defense brought to the people a particularly attractive space in the outdoor area. The outdoor exhibition area of ​​the Ministry of National Defense has the theme "Sword and Shield" with an area of ​​over 23,000m2 (in the South yard), displaying typical weapons and technical equipment researched and manufactured by the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam and weapons and technical equipment in the Army's payroll.

This exhibition area has a main blue welcome gate, symbolizing the Vietnam People's Army, designed with a central roundabout simulating the Hanoi Flag Tower, also known as Ky Dai, which is not only a unique architectural work, but also a witness to many important events in the history of Hanoi and Vietnam.

The appearance of the powerful array of weapons attracted the attention of many people visiting the exhibition.
