Nghe An beach flooded with trash after storm No. 5

After storm No. 5, water from rivers poured in, causing many beaches in Quynh Phu commune (Nghe An) to be filled with trash.

On the evening of August 28, Mr. Ho Van Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Phu commune ( Nghe An ) said that due to the impact of storm No. 5, a large amount of waste drifted to the beach in the area, posing a potential risk of environmental pollution.

Currently, the commune government has mobilized forces and local people to collect garbage on the beach tomorrow morning (August 29) to welcome tourists on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

According to locals, on August 28, a large amount of garbage washed ashore along the beach, stretching hundreds of meters.

It is known that Quynh Phu commune has a coastline of tens of kilometers, including Quynh Nghia beach (formerly Quynh Luu district) which is beautiful and still retains its wild beauty, attracting many locals and tourists.
