Giving bicycles to orphans on the occasion of the new school year in Tinh Gia ward

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026, on the afternoon of August 28, in Tinh Gia ward, the Provincial Women's Union and Dai Dung Group held a ceremony to give bicycles to orphans.

Comrade Ngo Thi Hong Hao, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union and delegates attended.

Recently, the Provincial Women's Union has mobilized philanthropists and businesses to join the Association in caring for and sponsoring orphans with special difficulties, including Dai Dung Group.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Ngo Thi Hong Hao, representative of Dai Dung Group and delegates presented bicycles to orphans in Tinh Gia ward.

It is known that Dai Dung Group is currently sponsoring 405 disadvantaged orphans in the province. On the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026, the unit also gave a meaningful gift of 136 bicycles to disadvantaged orphans in the whole province.

In Tinh Gia ward, the Provincial Women's Union and Dai Dung Group presented 21 bicycles to orphans. The remaining bicycles will be given directly by the Provincial Women's Union to disadvantaged orphans in communes and wards of Thanh Hoa province.

Leaders of the Provincial Women's Union and representatives of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association encouraged orphans.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Ngo Thi Hong Hao affirmed: This is a meaningful and practical work showing the hearts of the unions at all levels and accompanying units, and benefactors sent to orphaned children with special difficulties, in order to share difficulties with the children, create a joyful atmosphere and motivation to enter the new school year, and have more conditions to rise up in life.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to members in difficulty affected by storm No. 5 in the area.
