The power of innovation

On the afternoon of August 28, at the exhibition space of 80 years of national achievements, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Agritrade, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) in collaboration with TikTok Shop opened the program of Proud Vietnamese Agricultural Products Week . The event lasts until September 5, 2025, as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, attracting the attention of many businesses, artisans, farmers and content creators.

The highlight of the week was a series of 8 live streams directly at the exhibition. The broadcasts not only introduced typical Vietnamese agricultural products such as rice, tea, coffee, fruits, OCOP products and handicrafts, but also combined technical demonstrations from artisans and farmers. The combination of commercial activities and cultural experiences brought the audience a space that was both entertaining and educational, affirming the strong innovation in promoting agricultural trade.

There, TikTok Shop has become an important partner, helping Vietnamese agricultural products reach a wider market.

Vietnamese products thrive in the digital age

The Vietnamese Agricultural Pride Week is also a summary activity of the "Vietnamese Goods Rising Month" launched by TikTok Shop in August 2025. In a short time, this campaign has brought impressive numbers, from tens of thousands of orders for fashion and accessories in red and yellow stars, to nearly 10 thousand orders for specialty fruits after only 3 days. OCOP markets and traditional handicraft products also generated tens of thousands of orders, affirming the appeal of local products when promoted in new ways.

Notably, Ms. Tran Thi Tan, Director of Social Responsibility at TikTok Shop, shared that in just ten days of launching the Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products campaign, more than 10,000 videos were created, attracting half a million views. She emphasized that for the first time, farmers and artisans were directly involved in livestream sessions, telling stories about the products they made themselves. This has turned online shopping into an emotional cultural experience, creating a strong spread from real-life stories.

Not just stopping at numbers, these activities have contributed to raising awareness for thousands of Vietnamese brands, stirring up pride in the community of more than 70 million TikTok users in Vietnam. The hashtags #80NamNongNghiepMoiTruong, #HangVietVuonMinh, #TuHaoHangViet have become symbols that spread strongly on digital platforms, affirming the appeal of Vietnamese goods in the integration era.

Notably, “Vietnamese Agricultural Product Pride Week” is also a summary activity of “Vietnamese Goods Rising Month” launched by TikTok Shop in August 2025. The series of programs has left strong impressions in both commerce and communication, affirming the new vitality of Vietnamese goods on digital platforms.

Many local businesses have found opportunities to thrive.

As a result, TikTok Shop said that in August alone, it had launched 200 livestream sessions of the “Patriot Collection”, selling nearly 50,000 orders of red-starred fashion and accessories, creating a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate National Day. In parallel, 50 livestream sessions of “Four Seasons Sweet Fruit” also sold nearly 10,000 orders of specialty fruits in just 72 hours, contributing to promoting the consumption of seasonal agricultural products from many key growing regions.

Along with that, 60 "OCOP market" sessions and livestreams introducing traditional handicraft products brought in more than 12,500 orders after 72 hours, spreading the value of craft villages to a large number of consumers. In particular, 45 livestream sessions "Proud of National Brands" recorded more than 4,000 orders for 1,400 products from 56 Vietnamese national brands, affirming the position of leading enterprises in the digital trade flow.

These figures not only reflect impressive purchasing power, but also demonstrate the clear effectiveness of combining trade promotion with digital platforms, opening up a sustainable direction for Vietnamese agricultural products and goods in the integration era.

Therefore, “Vietnam Agricultural Pride Week” is not simply a trade promotion event, but also a message about the spirit of integration, where innovation, technology and culture blend together, so that Vietnamese agricultural products can confidently affirm their position in the global flow.
