Exploiting diverse advantages, Tay Ninh accelerates tourism development

Exploiting the advantages of source tourism, combining eco-tourism, high-tech agriculture, border economy, sports tourism and entertainment, Tay Ninh is implementing many key solutions to attract tourists, making tourism a spearhead economic sector.

According to the orientation, the development of synchronous infrastructure, connecting destinations inside and outside the province is a key factor. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh in coordination with relevant units advised the Provincial People's Committee to call for socialization, encourage businesses to invest in service infrastructure, especially eco-tourism, community tourism, hotels, resorts and entertainment areas. The province also promoted administrative procedure reform, creating a favorable environment to attract large-scale trade and service projects.

In addition to infrastructure, Tay Ninh tourism industry focuses on technology application and digital transformation. Utilities such as free wifi, digital maps, smart tourism portal, customer support chatbot... are deployed, helping tourists easily look up information, book tickets, and connect to tours. In addition, a system of bilingual signs, information centers, stops and modern customer services are being built synchronously, enhancing the experience of tourists.

The locality focuses on inter-regional and international connections through inter-provincial and inter-regional tourism routes; coordinates the organization of famtrips, fairs, festivals, and major events to promote tourism potential and products. Cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, the southwestern provinces, and Cambodia is considered a solution to expand the space for tourism development and increase the number of international visitors.

Currently, Tay Ninh has formed many outstanding destinations that are considered "extremely attractive to tourists". Typically, the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area - a spiritual and ecological tourism center, is being invested to become an international destination with a modern cable car system, the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia and many large-scale cultural and religious works.

In addition, the Central Southern Region Special National Historical Site has been renovated, combining the application of 3D mapping technology to recreate historical values, connecting with Lo Go - Xa Mat National Park, forming a chain of tourism products combining ecology and resources. In the Dau Tieng Lake area, the province is implementing a project to develop forests combined with eco-tourism at Nhim Island, promising to become a new highlight.

Tay Ninh also develops community tourism models, farmstay, riverside tourism and products associated with traditional culture, bringing diverse experiences to tourists. Festival tourism continues to be invested in, especially at historical sites and intangible cultural heritages, to improve the quality of organization and build a unique tourism brand of the province.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh, in the long-term strategy, the province aims to develop high-tech agricultural tourism associated with existing Dong Thap Muoi eco-tourism such as Tan Lap Floating Village, Endless Fields Medicinal Area, and Dong Vam Co River cruise route. Entertainment venues such as Safari My Quynh, Happy Land, Chavi Garden, etc. are also invested in parallel, contributing to diversifying tourism types.

With comprehensive solutions, Tay Ninh hopes that tourism will become an attractive destination at home and abroad, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province in the new period.
