Accordingly, Hue's exhibition space has an area of 645 m2, located in the Kim Quy area of the National Exhibition Center.
With the theme “Hue - Heritage, identity and green development vision”, the exhibition introduces to the public and international friends the historical journey, culture, identity and development orientation of Hue city - the first heritage city of Vietnam.
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Hue City, said that the exhibition space is designed in 5 areas: Hue - from ancient to modern urban areas, recreating historical milestones from the Nguyen Lords, Nguyen Dynasty, Tay Son movement to today's development and integration journey.
Hue - heritage city introduces world heritage system, scenic spots, traditional festivals, music and Hue royal art.
Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai displays traditional and modern Ao Dai collections, honoring the heritage value of "Knowledge of tailoring and wearing Hue Ao Dai".
The OCOP product and experience space introduces traditional craft villages and typical products such as conical hats, Thanh Tien paper flowers, Sinh village paintings, royal tea, and Hue cuisine .
Hue - Green and sustainable urban development , introducing a model of a smart, green, environmentally friendly city; affirming the vision of turning Hue into a centrally-governed city.
In particular, the city will organize Hue Art Night on the evening of September 2 at the central stage of the National Exhibition Center.
This exhibition not only affirms Hue's position as a unique cultural and tourist center of Vietnam but also conveys the aspiration to build a city with sustainable development, environmentally friendly, blending the past and the future.
Also at the exhibition, the Department of Tourism implemented Hue culinary space in the Culinary Space of 34 provinces and cities of Vietnam. With the theme "Quintessence of the Royal Court - Flavor of the Ancient Capital", Hue culinary space is divided into 2 main streams, including:
The Quintessence of the Royal Court introduces high-class dishes, delicately prepared and presented, once served in the royal palaces and lords' palaces. The flavors of the ancient capital bring to the rustic, traditional cuisine, imbued with the unique identity of Hue.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy on-site famous Hue specialties made by professional chefs such as: traditional cakes (banh beo, nam, loc, ram it, banh khoai), Hue beef noodles, and refreshing royal desserts...
