The report of the representative of the Office of the President said that in August, under the comprehensive and close leadership and direction of the President and Vice President and the proactive and effective management of the Office's leaders, all cadres, civil servants and employees of the Office continued to promote a sense of responsibility, well perform assigned tasks, serve the President and Vice President to effectively perform all aspects of work, tasks and powers according to the provisions of the Constitution and laws. The results of comprehensively performing tasks assigned by the Party; tasks related to the fields of legislation, executive, judiciary, national defense - security, foreign affairs... In particular, the outstanding domestic and foreign affairs activities of the President and Vice President at home and abroad on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, have received attention, recognition and high appreciation from public opinion, people and the international community.

Based on the assessment of the achieved results as well as the task requirements, in September, the Office continued to carry out the tasks of research, consulting, and serving the activities of the President and Vice President, focusing on a number of important key tasks related to domestic and foreign affairs.

After listening to the reports, proposals, and implementation of tasks from the representatives of the relevant units, and concluding the meeting, President Luong Cuong highly appreciated the efforts of the Office of the President in proactively planning and preparing timely and thoughtful content.

The President assessed that in the context of the complicated developments in the world and the region; domestically, the two-level local government model after two months of implementation has initially operated effectively; localities, departments, ministries and branches have focused on implementing party congresses at all levels. In that context, the Office of the President has united, promoted a sense of responsibility, closely coordinated with relevant agencies, advised and served the effective implementation of programs and work plans.

Regarding the direction of tasks in the coming time, the President said that the workload is very large, requiring the Office of the President to maximize its capacity, respond flexibly, and proactively to carry out the tasks of research, consulting, and serving the President and Vice President in the fields of domestic and foreign affairs; promptly advise on practical and in-depth content, ensuring progress and quality of work.

Agreeing with the key tasks proposed by the Office, the President emphasized that there is still a lot of work to do, and that in the coming time, it is necessary to focus on a number of tasks and tasks. In particular, the Office will closely coordinate with relevant agencies to advise and effectively serve the President and Vice President at important domestic and foreign events on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. The Office of the President will proactively deploy and coordinate the implementation of the completion of contents and tasks related to the foreign affairs activities of the State leaders in the coming time.

The President requested the Office to carefully review and consider in accordance with legal regulations related to the amnesty dossier on the occasion of the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), ensuring compliance with the Party's policies and regulations, State laws, and procedures; actively and widely disseminate and organize the announcement of the President's Amnesty Decision in 2025 (on the occasion of September 2) on schedule, demonstrating the superiority and humanity of the lenient regime and policy of our Party and State.

To effectively implement the assigned tasks and duties, the President requested the Office of the President and relevant units to continue to innovate methods and approaches, assign tasks to those in charge on the basis of leaders of relevant units having a firm grasp of their functions and duties; it is necessary to strengthen the organization of implementation and coordination in work.
