Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Department of Information Technology Industry, Department of International Cooperation, Department of Science, Technology and Engineering, Department of Technology Assessment and Appraisal, VKIST Institute, Institute of Technology Application; along with representatives of several large domestic enterprises (FPT , Viettel, VNPT...) and representatives of several universities (Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology...).
The Singapore side has the participation of SSIA member enterprises such as Hitachi High Tech, MFSG Pte. Ltd, Emerson, Innogrity, Curve Semiconductor, Hitec Innovative Technologies, Bitsilica...
Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong shared at the meeting.
At the meeting, the Ministry of Science and Technology introduced Vietnam's semiconductor industry development policies and SSIA shared information related to Singapore's semiconductor industry, one of the leading semiconductor manufacturing centers in the region. The two sides also exchanged and discussed issues related to policy mechanisms, investment potential, as well as cooperation opportunities in the semiconductor and supporting industries.
SSIA is a non-profit organization representing the Singapore semiconductor industry, established in 2005, with more than 250 members covering the entire semiconductor industry value chain, from IC design, manufacturing, fabless, equipment and material supply to training and research services. SSIA plays an important role as a bridge between Singapore and the global semiconductor value chain.
