Next is the XBC02 armored personnel carrier. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun and a 7.62mm heavy machine gun.

In particular, in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, he led five armies in five directions of attack. The image of tanks numbered 843 and 390 bravely crashing down the gate of the Independence Palace and planting the liberation flag on the roof of the Independence Palace at noon on April 30, 1975 is forever a heroic symbol of the nation.

The A80 parade featured a tank force, including upgraded T-54B and T-55 tanks. These were solidly armored fortresses, equipped with powerful 100mm anti-aircraft machine guns and powerful anti-ship machine guns.

With a crew of four, they are the perfect combination of strong firepower, high mobility and good self-protection. Especially the intelligently improved T-54B version with the skillful control of the vehicle members. They are truly a combat weapon that brings high performance on all battlefields.

After two general rehearsals, from 8:00 p.m. tonight (August 27), the state-level preliminary rehearsal of the military parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2 (task A80) will take place at Ba Dinh Square and the central streets of Hanoi.

According to the plan, the scale of the rehearsal will be similar to the official ceremony with the participation of all parade and marching groups as well as artillery and other forces.

This is the third A80 parade rehearsal at Ba Dinh Square, before the State-level rehearsal from 6:30 a.m. on August 30. The official rally, parade, and march will take place from 6:30 a.m. on National Day, September 2.

The preliminary program consists of two parts: Implementation of the Party and State's rituals and ceremonies and parades. Parades and marches of the Army, foreign armies, and the Police; the Army's weapons and equipment systems, and the Police's special vehicles.

There are 6 forces participating in the parade, including: Traditional Torch Relay Force and Fire Guard; Ceremonial Artillery Force; Air Force flying salute.

The parade and marching forces include: 4 Honor Guards; 43 blocs representing the people's armed forces including 26 Army blocs, 17 Police blocs); 4 foreign military blocs including: China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia; Military vehicles, artillery, special Police vehicles; Sea parade force; 12 mass parade blocs; 1 Culture and Sports bloc.

Hanoi police adjust road ban plan on August 27

In order to prepare for the A80 grand ceremony at 8:00 p.m. on August 27, Hanoi City Police extended the road closure from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following day.

Compared to the announcement on August 13, the time for banning, temporary banning, and restricting vehicles is 5 hours earlier, starting from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28.

The routes where all vehicles are strictly prohibited (except for vehicles with security badges and vehicles serving the celebration) include: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Chua Mot Cot, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Cua Bac, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien.

The routes in the area from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2 will be temporarily banned for trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, and passenger cars with 16 seats or more. The temporary ban will take place when the convoy serving the A80 festival passes by, after which vehicles will be allowed to circulate normally.

The city police recommend that passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes limit their circulation on routes from Ring Road 2 to Ring Road 3; and vehicles limit their travel from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2.
