In the 6th minute, the opponent organized an attack down the wing, suddenly put the ball in to shoot, goalkeeper Cam My blocked the ball, continued to be added into the net, opening the score 1-0 for U16 women's Thailand.

After conceding an early goal, the red shirt players shocked the formation and organized a counterattack.

In the 16th minute, in a chaotic situation in front of goalkeeper Pimlapat's goal, Aunchidtha suddenly put the ball into the net, bringing a goal for the Vietnam U16 women's team.

In the 24th minute, Monthida was brought onto the field. Head coach Thidarat's decision to substitute proved effective as the player who had just entered the field coordinated well before scoring the goal to raise the score to 2-1 for the Thai U16 women's team in the 43rd minute.

In the last minutes of the first half, the U16 Vietnamese women's players played without concentration, allowing Charlotte to have a chance to successfully score, widening the gap to 3-1.

In the second half, with the added and reinforced force, the Vietnam U16 women's team tried to organize an attack by raising the formation to disperse the opponent.

The red team also had a few coordinated attacks but their finishing ability was not good enough to make it difficult for the opposing goalkeeper.

Losing 1-3 to Thailand's U16 women's team, Vietnam's U16 women's team will compete for third place in the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women's Championship taking place at 3:30 p.m. on August 29.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko and his team's opponents will be determined after the semi-final match between host U16 women's team Indonesia and U16 women's team Australia.
