Opening of the Futsal Football Tournament for Quang Ngai Province Clubs

VHO – On the evening of August 27, at the Quang Ngai Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Quang Ngai Provincial Futsal Club Football Tournament.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province, Nguyen Lien Phuong, said that this year's Quang Ngai Futsal Club Tournament gathered many strong teams, with the participation of a large number of athletes from clubs in the province. This is a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving health, solidarity, and exchange and learning between clubs and localities.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Lien Phuong presented flowers and souvenir flags to the referee team and participating teams.

The tournament gathered nearly 140 athletes from 8 Futsal clubs in the province. During 5 days of competition, the teams competed in 2 groups in a round-robin format to calculate rankings.

The first and second place teams in each group will compete in the semi-finals and finals. The teams will compete in the qualifying round from August 27 to 29. From August 31 to September 1, the teams will compete in the semi-finals and select the two best teams to compete in the finals. The Organizing Committee is expected to award one first prize, one second prize and two third prizes.

The exciting match took place after the opening ceremony.

Through the tournament, many promising faces are discovered, nurtured, and become the backbone for teams participating in bigger tournaments.
