"I learned about Nam O fishing village through social networks. During the summer in Da Nang, I decided to visit here. The scenery here is so peaceful and beautiful, the rocks hidden in the water, the waves lapping the shore create a poetic and romantic scene. 400 year old fish sauce making profession
In addition to its wild and majestic natural scenery, Nam O also attracts tourists thanks to its famous fish sauce making craft that is over 400 years old. Traditional fish sauce is the pride of the Nam O people, and the fish sauce making craft is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Nam O fish sauce has a distinctive traditional flavor, handcrafted. The fish sauce is made from anchovies taken from Tho Quang fishing port, marinated with Sa Huynh salt in a ratio of 3 fish to 1 salt, and aged in earthenware jars for 12-15 months.
From Nam O fish sauce, people have also created a unique drink from the familiar drink of Vietnamese people - fish sauce coffee. The owner of this new drink is Mr. Bui Thanh Phu, owner of Huong Lang Co fish sauce production facility.

From his family's love for traditional fish sauce and the desire to let more people know about his hometown's products, Mr. Phu has researched and created a unique drink.
Fish sauce coffee is made from roasted ground coffee and a layer of creamy cream. The special thing about this drink is the fish sauce powder, which is concentrated from Nam O fish sauce, sprinkled on top of the creamy cream.

"The concentrated fish sauce powder has a mild taste, not as strong as fish sauce. Therefore, it creates a mellow, mild taste and handles the sour aftertaste of coffee, bringing a new flavor to tourists," said Mr. Bui Thanh Phu.
