- On August 28, Chi Lang Border Guard Station coordinated with the 575th Engineer Brigade, the 3rd Infantry Division Engineer Team, Military Region 1 and the People's Committee of Kien Moc commune to inaugurate and hand over 2 projects "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" to people in difficult circumstances in Kien Moc commune.
Here, the units handed over a new 80 m2 house to Mr. Hoang Van Diem's family in Ban Chat village, Kien Moc commune. It is known that Mr. Diem's family is in extremely difficult circumstances, the previous house was cramped, makeshift, and dilapidated, but the family did not have the conditions to build a new house or repair it. The total value of the house construction support is 120 million VND.
On the same day, the units handed over the house repair project to the family of Mrs. Ha Thi Loi, Ban Chat village, Kien Moc commune. It is known that Mrs. Loi's family is single and in difficult circumstances, the house is severely damaged and unsafe. The total cost of house repair support is 30 million VND.
The two projects have been newly built and repaired since May 2025. The inauguration and handover of these two projects is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945 - 2025). This activity also has a profound humanitarian meaning, aiming to help and support poor and single households to have stable housing, work and produce with peace of mind, and improve their lives.
These are 2 of 4 houses that Chi Lang Border Guard Station coordinated with the above units and forces stationed in the area, along with local Party committees and authorities to support the construction and repair of new houses and houses under the program of "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the border area from the beginning of 2025 until now.
