Lang Son Province Literature, Arts and Journalists Association participates in the exhibition of Chinese and Vietnamese folk art

- On August 28, the Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists of Lang Son province participated in the China - Vietnam Folk Art Exhibition (an activity within the framework of the China - Vietnam Border Tourism Festival 2025 and the ASEAN - China Import-Export Trade Fair 2025 taking place in Bang Tuong town, Guangxi, China). Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition were comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Ho Pham, Vice Chairman of the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

This is the second time in 2025 that the Lang Son Provincial Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists has participated in cultural events in this locality, thereby affirming the good cultural cooperation relationship between Lang Son (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China).

Participating in the exhibition, the Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists of Lang Son province displayed 30 works of Vietnamese folk paintings, including 20 works created by artists who are members of the Fine Arts Association of the Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists of Lang Son province and 10 Dong Ho paintings.

The works selected for display are not only diverse in style, material and form of expression, but also contain profound ideological content, reflecting the strong personal imprint of the artists.

These works authentically depict traditional cultural values from the rustic beauty of Dong Ho folk paintings to the unique beauty of the land and people of Lang Son, expressing the noble aspirations of the Vietnamese people.

Also within the framework of the program, the delegation of the Lang Son Provincial Literature and Journalism Association participated in the China - Vietnam Folk Art Exchange Workshop with the theme "Painting depicts friendship, China - Vietnam inherit together".

At the workshop, delegates from both sides discussed issues related to folk paintings of the two countries, shared creative experiences, and considered this a great opportunity for both sides to exchange and learn from each other in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of each nation in the modern flow through folk paintings.
