People in the lower Tay Ninh region no longer lack water for daily use in the dry season.

On August 28, Biwase-Long An Water Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to distribute water to Nhi Thanh Water Plant phase 3 - increasing capacity to 120,000m3/day and night.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh said that this is not only an infrastructure project, but also a testament to the effective cooperation between the government, businesses and people for the goal of green development.

The Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested Biwase- Long An Water Joint Stock Company to promptly carry out investment procedures according to regulations to deploy the construction of the D1200 clean water transmission pipeline from Ben Luc commune along DT.830 to Cho Tram intersection, in order to provide enough water for people and businesses in the lower communes, ensuring water security until 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The work of pulling D1200mm pipe across the Vam Co Dong River is an important item in the project.

Nhi Thanh Water Plant Phase 3 has been under construction for more than 10 months and has now been completed with an additional capacity of 60,000 m³/day, bringing the total capacity of the entire plant to 120,000 m³/day.

The project has a total investment of phase 3 of more than 1,100 billion VND, bringing the total investment of the entire project to over 2,200 billion VND.

When put into operation, the project will provide clean water to people in the lower areas of Tay Ninh province and many large industrial parks, contributing to improving the quality of life, ensuring social security and economic development.
