The country changes

Never before have we seen so many domestic private enterprises making bold proposals like today: building airports, ports, highways, subways... All of these are huge and difficult infrastructure projects, consuming a lot of capital, slow to generate profits, high risks...

Of course, the private sector is now strong enough after 80 years of Independence, 50 years of Peace , 40 years of Innovation, and 30 years of Integration.

In particular, 40 years of Renovation have opened up the domestic market and 30 years of Integration have opened up the world market for both domestic and foreign enterprises.

The private sector is strong, but they may not dare to take the plunge if they feel insecure about doing business.

Are they treated equally with other economic sectors? Are their opinions and policy suggestions respected?

Do they have a consistent commitment from policy to action? If so, then they have real trust.

Otherwise, they only enrich themselves and their families, without caring about the community or the country.

The “yes” answer is reinforced by the emergence of discourse and messages from senior leaders to official documents.

Not only businesses but also people are witnessing a period of national transformation: reducing central ministries and branches, merging provinces and cities, and completely eliminating district levels to maximize resources for national development.

This is the initial step of the strategy to elevate the institution from state management to national governance. This is the qualitative innovation step to transform the administrative system from control and management to service, creation, and opening up development space for all economic sectors, especially the private economy.

That drastic strategy has created a special turning point in the year of the Snake 2025, although such a tremendous transformation is not simple or easy, if not to say it requires coping with initial difficulties. If the goal is to save the country and the people, "it is ten thousand times more difficult than the people can do it."

Because the potential resources within the people will become an extraordinary driving force if properly unleashed as has been unleashed through Innovation and Integration. That extraordinary driving force is completely capable of launching the country into the orbit of developed countries, "standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers" in the next two decades.

Each of us is on that ship and hopes to contribute to witness the day the ship reaches that orbit!
