VIMC's mark at the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

On the morning of August 28, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with relevant agencies and Vingroup to organize the opening ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness". This is a political - cultural event of special significance, aiming to honor the great achievements that the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army have achieved in the revolutionary cause under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, while affirming the potential, position and development aspirations of the country on the integration journey.

Attending the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party and State: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man ; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; together with leaders of departments, ministries, branches, localities and many typical enterprises nationwide. In his opening speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the Exhibition is not only a highlight of the 80th anniversary of National Day but also a space to spread patriotism, national pride and aspirations to rise up, affirming Vietnam's stature on the path of innovation and integration.

Overview of VIMC exhibition booth

Among more than 230 booths at the exhibition, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) left its mark with a space of nearly 200m², bearing the image of containers covered in the brand's blue and orange colors, reminding of the Corporation's 30-year journey of persistently reaching the sea. The space featured the image of the VIMC brand appearing with typical member enterprises, outlining a complete maritime ecosystem, from seaport exploitation, maritime transport to maritime services. Every detail in the booth seemed to recreate a miniature sea journey, where every mark was aimed at the aspiration of bringing the Vietnamese maritime industry far and wide on the ocean.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIMC Nguyen Canh Tinh attended the opening ceremony and was present at the booth, respectfully welcoming the leaders of the Party, the State, leaders of departments, ministries, and press agencies to visit and learn about the development journey of the Corporation. The presence and thoughtful reception of the Chairman and the VIMC delegation not only demonstrated the sense of responsibility and respect for the distinguished guests, but also affirmed the Corporation's commitment to accompanying the common development aspirations of the country. Thereby, the image of VIMC is marked as a pioneering, professional enterprise, always attached to the cause of marine economic development and international integration.

The National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of the Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” was held on the largest scale ever, gathering the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large economic corporations and enterprises. In that space, the presence of VIMC is both an honor and an affirmation of the position of a core enterprise in the national maritime industry, steadfast in the goal of sustainable development, innovation, and active contribution to the journey of building a prosperous and happy Vietnam.
