Attending the exhibition were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Huy Toan, collectors and a large audience.
The pottery exhibition “Soul of the Earth” took place at the thematic gallery of Pleiku Museum, with about 250 artifacts, images, and documents. In addition to the museum’s artifacts, the exhibition also had the participation of 7 collectors in the western region of Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces.

Lasting from August 29 to September 15, the exhibition consists of 4 parts: From terracotta to ceramics - the journey of transformation of the soil; Glazed ceramics - The essence of ceramics; Ceramics in the flow of modern life; Corner of experiencing handmade ceramics by local people.
This is a journey back in time, taking viewers to explore the formation, development and quintessence of Vietnamese ceramics - from the early days to the present.

Through the systematic display of documents and artifacts, viewers can see that Vietnam is one of the countries where the pottery profession appeared quite early (about ten thousand years ago).
With creativity and skillful hands, Vietnamese people have absorbed and transformed the quintessence of ceramic techniques from many different cultures, shaping the traditional and indigenous ceramic art of Vietnam.

From August 29 to September 5, Gia Lai Bonsai Club in collaboration with Pleiku Museum organized the exhibition "Green Forest".
The exhibition displays nearly 100 bonsai works with more than 40 different species in the Museum grounds. Not only affirming the talent and creativity of the artisans in pruning, shaping and caring for ornamental plants, each tree shape also shows the harmonious beauty between nature and art, containing a philosophy of living firmly, steadfastly, and rising strongly in the face of all challenges.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Tuan - Director of Pleiku Museum - expected: "Through the exhibitions "Soul of the land" and "Green features of the great forest", the Organizing Committee wishes to honor traditional cultural values, arouse love and awareness of heritage conservation; create conditions for artisans, collectors and the public to meet, exchange and share experiences. These activities also contribute to promoting the image of Gia Lai land and people in particular, Vietnam in general to domestic and international friends".
