Each serving of Dong Ung chicken rice looks simple at first glance with a plate of golden rice and crispy fried chicken. “The principle at Dong Ung restaurant is that the chickens are imported on the same day and sold out on the same day, not left until the next day. We prioritize suppliers of free-range chickens. This is also the principle for the restaurant to always maintain the quality and flavor of the dishes, as well as gain the trust of customers,” said Mr. Dinh Cong Thu, owner of Dong Ung 2 Cuisine Restaurant.

Although it has only been open for selling chicken rice for lunch and dinner for 3 months, Dong Ung 2 Cuisine has become a "favorite" restaurant for many people in the mountain town of Pleiku as well as neighboring localities.

In addition to having rice for lunch, I used to often come to the restaurant to enjoy chicken pho every morning."
