Arouse patriotism
Teacher Tran Thi Quyen - Principal of Van Khe Primary School (Ha Dong, Hanoi) shared that to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education , now the Ministry of Education and Training, the school's Youth Union launched a painting contest for all students with the theme: Patriotism, Vietnamese revolutionary history.
The paintings must be drawn on A3 paper. Each student can submit multiple paintings. The paintings must clearly state their full name and class (no restrictions on materials and colors). The paintings will be selected by the school's Union and awarded prizes for outstanding works; each grade will receive 1 Excellent prize, 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, and 5 Third prizes.

At Dong La Primary School (An Khanh, Hanoi), teacher Duong Thuy Ha said that teachers and students of the school also actively participated in many practical activities to welcome the 80th anniversary of National Day.
The handmade flowers made by the students themselves are simple but full of love, a natural gift sent on Independence Day. More than 1,000 students simultaneously arranged the map of Vietnam and a red heart, affirming their love for their homeland and their steadfast belief in the Fatherland.

In particular, the construction of the number 80 and a big heart on the green background of the school playground stands out as a symbol - a testament to the spirit of solidarity, gratitude to the previous generation and the aspirations of the younger generation.
In the propaganda activities and learning about the historical significance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, teachers have ignited the flame of patriotism and instilled in students national pride and respect for the great sacrifices of previous generations so that the country can have the independence and freedom it has today.
Strengthening coordination with parents
According to teacher Le Anh Van - Principal of Dong Da Primary School (Kim Lien, Hanoi), in the recent series of summer club activities, grade 2 students had many useful and memorable experiences. In particular, towards the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, teachers and students of grade 2 together created extremely meaningful impressions.

Including the “Patriotic Fruit Juice” Project; meeting and interacting with a special character, Mr. Do Van Yen - Former Deputy Captain of the heroic 969 Special Forces Company, who was twice honored to receive the badge of the American-killing Hero and the title of National Emulation Fighter.
At the talk, the veteran told about his childhood amidst bombs and bullets with the dream of peace, and advised the children to cherish the past, maintain courage, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and be grateful to the previous generation. He expressed his belief in today's young generation and emphasized the importance of solidarity and team spirit to move forward together.

In addition, Dong Da Primary School also implemented the project “Parents and teachers in class”. On August 19, parents working in the police force directly came to class, becoming special “teachers”, sharing with students about their profession, the difficult but noble tasks, and many useful legal knowledge in daily life.
"Through the lesson, students not only broaden their knowledge, but also become more proud, respectful and grateful for the work of the police officers - those who are silently bringing happiness and safety to the people. The day of the August Revolution in Hanoi (August 19, 1945) was also the founding day of the People's Police force, so the implementation of this project becomes even more meaningful," said teacher Le Anh Van.
