Many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on Ba Den Mountain

During the 4-day National Day holiday this year, a series of experiences towards the roots were vibrantly organized on the top of Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh Province.

On the morning of September 2, a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will be held on a large scale at the square on top of Ba Den Mountain. In the evening of the same day, a lantern-raising ceremony will be held for tourists and Tay Ninh people to honor history and commemorate the heroes who sacrificed for the Fatherland.

Ba Den Mountain is not only a legendary sacred mountain, here, every cave, tree root, and road tells a story about the bravery and sacrifice of generations of fathers and brothers.

To commemorate the arduous and heroic journey of the soldiers and revolutionaries of the past, from August 27 to September 5, 2025, Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area organizes the exhibition "Ba Den Mountain - the heroic epic forever echoes".

The exhibition is a recollection of Ba Den Mountain through historical milestones: Ba Den Mountain before the Party; Ba Den Mountain when the Party existed; Ba Den Mountain during the resistance war against France; Ba Den Mountain during the resistance war against America and Ba Den Mountain today - a pilgrimage land, a healing destination.

At the exhibition, visitors can admire historical photos and artifacts marking the heroic history of the mountain that was once the "divine eye" in the resistance wars against the US and France.

Along with that, many experiential activities during this holiday include the largest Leaf Market on the mountain top with more than 30 stalls of products taking place from August 30 to September 2, 2025; art performances, flower lantern offering ceremonies.

In particular, on August 31, 2025 (July 9 of the lunar calendar), the Vu Lan ceremony will be officially and solemnly held by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the top of Ba Den Mountain with many meaningful activities, listening to Venerable Thich Thien Thuan - Head of the Propagation Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (old) giving a sermon with the theme "Mother's Heart"./.
