The MV Vinh quang oi! Viet Nam was released on August 29, in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. The song will also be introduced in the New Works program, broadcast on VTV on September 2.
Glory! Vietnam is a song everyone can sing.
Professor Nguyen Anh Tri is a Hero of Labor and the first director of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
He shared that he is a scientist, loves his country and loves music . He always aspires to compose a song about the country, the Fatherland, and the Vietnamese people. That is the biggest reason leading to the birth of Vinh quang oi! Viet Nam.
Over the past few years, he has written many times, even finished several pieces, but was not satisfied because they were too long or too spread out, the melody was not inspiring or proud enough.
Until one day, the melody of the song Vinh quang oi! Viet Nam suddenly came to him, he immediately sat down to compose, and in less than 30 minutes the song was completed.
"I wrote this song quickly, perhaps because my emotions had been pent up for a long time and at the right moment they erupted, creating the melody and lyrics," said Professor Tri.
Then he sent the music to musicians Phuong Thao - Manh Cuong to mix and arrange and prepare to make the MV.
Musician Do Hong Quan said, "Oh Glory! Vietnam" has a short, easy-to-understand, easy-to-listen, concise, complete melody and lyrics, and uses traditional music so it is very familiar. The musician was impressed by the very short chorus: "Proud of our Fatherland / Glory, oh Vietnam". This is a song that anyone can sing.
