Exhibition A80: Private enterprise's mark in nation building

Expressing the Vietnamese people's desire to integrate and reach new heights

On the morning of August 28, 2025, the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Development Achievements with the theme "Brilliant Vietnam: 80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey" officially opened and gathered the country's outstanding achievements in all fields to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2. This is an exhibition of "unprecedentedly large scale", with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of the exhibition center.

This is not only an opportunity to look back on the outstanding achievements over the past eight decades, but also a strong affirmation of Vietnam's position in the international arena, while deeply inspiring the younger generation with national pride and aspirations to rise up.

The exhibition brings together the country's outstanding achievements in many fields: Industry, technology, investment, trade, agriculture , defense, healthcare, education, culture, sports and tourism.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has two exhibition areas. The first area focuses on displaying the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector over 80 years of history. From the early days of the resistance war to the industrialization and modernization period in the "Development and Construction" space. The second area is the "Startup and National Construction" space, which honors the role of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.

At the exhibition space “Start-up and national construction” deployed by the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), there are nearly 100 typical enterprises, including nearly 50 national brand enterprises. The enterprises represent many fields such as processing and manufacturing industry, textiles, footwear, energy, e-commerce, etc.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Trade Promotion Agency said that the organization of this exhibition is of special importance. This is an unprecedented large event, with a scale of tens of thousands of square meters, in which the exhibition area of the enterprises alone occupies an area of more than 1.9 hectares out of a total of 4.34 hectares of the entire exhibition area.

With the scale and stature of the largest exhibition of achievements in the Industry and Trade sector ever, especially from the vivid picture of enterprises displayed at the exhibition, it affirmed the position of private enterprises in the nation-building process, thereby creating a comprehensive picture of the development achievements of the Vietnam Industry and Trade sector.

Honored to be one of nearly 50 Vietnamese national brand enterprises participating in the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Trinh Vu - Director of Ton Dong A Bac Ninh Company Limited said, we are honored to be selected by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as one of nearly 100 typical units under the National Brand Program to participate in the "Start-up and Nation Building" booth at the Exhibition of Achievements in the Development of Industry and Trade. Right from the beginning of participation, Ton Dong A has built a detailed plan, from design ideas, selection of products to display to arranging staff to welcome guests.

In order to spread the message "The Industry and Trade Sector grows with the country", being honored to be one of the national brands participating in the exhibition, Nutricare Nutrition Joint Stock Company expressed its honor and pride.

Commenting on the significance of the exhibition, Mr. Minh said that this is an opportunity to strongly spread the entrepreneurial spirit and affirm the internal strength of Vietnamese dairy enterprises. “We believe that this internal strength will not only help the Vietnamese dairy industry reach further in the international market, but also inspire startups for the business community in many other fields,” said Mr. Minh.

80-year journey to continue writing the nation's golden history

At the exhibition, for the first time, the "giant" in the dairy industry - Vinamilk Dairy Joint Stock Company brought an overview of the technological breakthroughs and proud achievements that the enterprise has achieved, in parallel with the development of the country.

Sharing with the Industry and Trade Newspaper at the exhibition, a Vinamilk representative said that Vinamilk's journey began in 1976 - the time when the country entered the construction phase after liberation. From zero, Vinamilk has become Vietnam's national dairy enterprise.

“Participating in the exhibition has special significance for Vinamilk because the exhibition is not only a display space, but also affirms the position of private enterprises, honors the entrepreneurial spirit and international integration of the Vietnamese business community,” said a Vinamilk representative.

Emphasizing the importance of the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Minh Pharmaceuticals shared that the scale and stature of the exhibition will elevate the participating businesses, enhance their image and brand value, this is very necessary to support Vietnamese businesses to affirm and develop their position.

In addition, Mr. Thai expressed that by participating in the exhibition, Thai Minh Pharmaceutical wants to send the message that a Vietnamese enterprise, based on systematic research, kindness and product development from Vietnamese materials, can completely compete with foreign enterprises in the health food market as well as other sectors in the Vietnamese economy.

Mr. Dao Huu Huyen also said that during the preparation of the exhibition booth, the Ministry of Industry and Trade supported the business a lot from the premises to the decoration. “By participating in the exhibition, we want to introduce Duc Giang Chemicals with a wide range of products. For example, household products such as lighting batteries, fertilizers, detergents and especially specialized chemicals such as yellow phosphorus chemicals and advertise projects such as the one being implemented with a value of more than 2,000 billion VND in Nghi Son. We want many people to know about Duc Giang Chemicals and spread it domestically and internationally,” Mr. Dao Huu Huyen emphasized.

According to the Trade Promotion Agency, the highlight of this year’s exhibition is not only the grandeur and diversity in design but also the depth of the message conveyed by each booth. Many businesses have cleverly recreated the development journey of their industry, closely linked to the growth of the country’s economy.

With the participation of private enterprises participating in the exhibition, it is not only a display event, but also a clear demonstration of the comprehensive development of the Industry and Trade sector, from processing and manufacturing industries, textiles, footwear to energy, e-commerce, etc. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to affirm their production capacity, creativity and international integration.

The national socio-economic achievements exhibition with the theme "Brilliant Vietnam - 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi). Contributing to the scale of the exhibition, with many strong industries, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has organized the Exhibition of achievements in the development of the Industry and Trade sector in the space of "Development Creation" and "Start-up to build the nation" - honoring the achievements of the sector in the journey of national development.
